Overview
Canine Bowen is a very gentle form of therapy that resonates very well with dogs.
To recap, it is a remedial, hands-on therapy that is applied using very gentle pressure. I use Bowen’s unique set of rolling-type moves on precise points of the dog’s body to stimulate the muscles and soft tissue of the body. There is no manipulation or adjustment of hard tissue, no sharp leg lifts or neck cracks and all of the animals I have treated have reacted to the treatment by deeply relaxing.
I have used it extensively for nervous, aggressive or fearful animals or those with emotional issues – and in the majority of cases, there has been a significant improvement in their demeanour and their performance.
